If you've driven part our Poole branch lately you will have seen some significant demolition work taking place. Having purchased the property adjacent to our Bournemouth Road site the bulldozers have moved in to make way for an expansion of the vehicle display forecourt.
Approaching its 65th year of trading, Norman Motors has recently undergone significant investment, including total refurbishment of our main site in Wallisdown Road in Bournemouth and a corporate re-brand. Phase II of the project is re-design the forecourt at Poole and upgrade the office facilities for the improved comfort of our customers and staff.
David Norman, proprietor at Norman Motors says the current works will enhance the customer experience and enable him to increase stock, commenting:
"The expansion of our Poole branch will mean we can have up to 160 quality premium brand and prestige used cars on display across both sites at any one time. I am the third generation in the Norman family to be at the helm, and as we are celebrating our 65th anniversary soon it is good to see the Norman Motors name going from strength to strength."
Norman Motors began in 1953 when David Norman's grandfather Donald set up from a house and frontage in Wallisdown serving from petrol pumps and selling just three or four vehicles at a time. The Wallisdown Road site now extends to around half an acre with room for 85 vehicles, plus the Service Centre for car servicing and repairs. David added,
"The used car market has remained buoyant in this area, and I believe our business has continued to grow based on history and reputation as well as good old fashioned customer service. In a world where customers are often anonymous we like to build lasting relationships."
